Homeopathic Treatment of Lyme Disease

Monday, November 30th, 2009

The September 94 issue of "Homeopathy Today" has an interesting
article on the homeopathic treatment of Lyme disease by Stephen Tobin,
DVM. Here is a brief extract from the article.

"I am a holistic veterinarian in Conneticut and have treated several
hundred cases of Lyme disease in the past five years. After trying
various homeopathic preparations, with only limited success, I found
that Ledum in a 1M potency is about as close as you can get to a
specific cure. I have used it in dogs, cats, and horses, and it does
not seem to matter whether it is a recent infection, a year old,
treated or untreated — they all seem to respond curatively."

"While I do not treat human beings, some of my clients with animals
suffering from Lyme disease have taken Ledum 1M for their own Lyme
disease infections, after seeing the positive result with their
animals. The feedback I have gotten is all positive. I have told
numerous naturopaths and homeopathic MDs about Ledum. One homeopathic
MD runs titers on all his Lyme disease patients, both before and after
treatment with Ledum, and has found there is a constant decline in
titer after Ledum."

For treatment, I give one pellet of Ledum 1M three times a day for
three days."

Practicing Non-violence together…

Monday, November 30th, 2009

Here is an invitation I got over the Interfaith Listserve…
         AN INVITATION
to Participate in an "Inside Job"
                       September 24, 1994

Will you consent to experience 24 hours of non-violence
on our planet?

Phase I :  Begins at midnight (12:00 am 9/24/94 and continues through
12:00 pm the same day (24 hours).  We commit to practice
non-violence in our lives this entire 24 hour period.  (see
           below for suggestions).

Phase II:  At 12:00 noon, everyone, wherever you are, join with the
global community and send this invitation to consent to
non-violence to all of humanity through meditation, prayer,
           gatherings, celebrations, etc.

How can you participate on September 24, 1994?

  * Commit to 24 hours of non-violence (self-love, family harmony,
crime-
free communities, appreciation of our earth and international
    cooperation)
  * Pray and/or meditate by yourself or with others at 12:00 pm

How can you prepare for September 24, 1994

  * Photocopy or reprint this invitation.  Share it with everyone you
    know
  * Schedule informal gatherings, plan ceremonies and celebrations
  * Help spread the word through conversations, networking, media,
churches, service and peace organizations, government, etc.
    (locally and internationally)
  * Designate one day a week to practice non-violence in your own life.
Appreciate yourself, replace every negative with a positive, commit
random acts of kindness.  Make this a habit from now on.
  * Imagine yourself living, loving and creating in a non-violent world
  * Send the invitation over the "airwaves" in prayer and meditation
    every day

We invite you to continue this event annually on the 24th of September
each year until we manifest non-violence in our lives and on our
planet.
The 50th anniversary of the United Nations is in the Fall, 1995.  Share
the vision of consent.  By September 24, 1995, this invitation will be
energized world wide.

This INVITATION is another opportunity to manifest our hearts desire.

Paint allergy

Monday, November 30th, 2009

I have a friend that is allergic to the standard paint brands. I am looking
for a name of a paint company that offers a type of paint which contains less
chemicals that the  standard brands. I am not sure which chemical in the paint
is causing an allergic reaction. Should anyone have information please send to
e-mail: jh…@powergrid.electriciti.com.

Thank you

GABA (was l-glutamine)

Monday, November 30th, 2009

Seeing as it’s not possible to buy GABA in this country, could someone give
me the address/phone number of a company in the States that I could order
direct from? I believe a good one is called GABA Plus and has a couple
of the vitamin B group supporting the GABA.

Many Thanks,

Two things. One, this medicinal contains myrrh and other aromatics (it may
contain camphor, but certainly contains camphorous herbs), so it may well
interfere with homeopathic agents. Two, this is great stuff for tooth
extraction. And while it won’t cure bleeding ulcers, it can be very useful in
those conditions. Women should keep some in capsule form on hand for heavy
periods (which it will handily control, taken internally).
