sweating

Sunday, January 31st, 2010

Anyone have a suggestion for stoping heavy sweating??

I’ve tried several deodorants and antiperspirants,
smell is not a problems, but the amount of sweat sure is.

Mainly, armpits.

Funny, but the problems seems to be stronger when i’m fresh out of the shower.

Thanks

Re: Testing homeopathy (was: Chinese healer breaks

Sunday, January 31st, 2010

: Mind you, the affliction mentioned has the name of being
: very well treatable with homeopathy. It is so to speak the
: strongest case. In itself this is not strange, because children
: will get this affliction less and less when they become older
: and when their immune system matures. Each child treated for
: some time by a homeopath can be claimed as a "success".

Odd, my own homeopath doesn’t even treat colds, so to call cold therapy the
‘strongest case’ is quite a stretch. Secondly, all tests in Europe have to be
considered in terms of whether therapy was classical or not. Were they? There
are several ‘varieties’ of homeopathic therapy–only the constitutional can
be expected to resolve such health complaints on the occasions when the
underlying weakness is constitutional. East-Asian Traditional Healing
recognized most recurrent URI’s as in children as due to _diet_. Without diet
therapy, how is homeopathy going to ‘cure’?

Has anyone out there had experience with using magnets for curing illness?
I have heard that Nikken is a multi-level marketing manufacturer, and am
interested in pursuing this.

Question Regarding Goldenseal Root

Sunday, January 31st, 2010

Does anyone know the specific (or even the general) benefits of taking
Golden Seal Root?  The fellow at GNC said that it’s good for "cleaning out
you system."  Is it just a natural Metamucil?  What does it do?  Any and
all replys will be maost welcome.

How do you treat Cold Sores?

Sunday, January 31st, 2010

I know this is kind of an unimportant problem, but I know that
they are a real pain in the ass for me.  I just recently (a couple months
ago) got a scar on my lip from one…How do you treat these things so
they’ll go away quick and leave no scarring?  They really are pretty
disgusting….thanks!

InHome smart drugs price list available

Sunday, January 31st, 2010

Hi,

Because I understand netiquette doesn’t consider posting price lists
allowable, I refrained from doing so- if you are interested, you can find
our list at the WWW smart drug archive at www.damicon.fi. A couple of other
archive maintainers have offered to carry it as well, but for the moment
it’s only available (as far as I’ve seen) as:

http://www.damicon.fi/sd/inhome.pricelist.txt

If you don’t have a WWW browser and would like to receive the list, just
drop me a note…

Acupuncture&/orHerb Research Request

Sunday, January 31st, 2010

I am looking for any information, leads, SOURCE CITES, FTP-able stuff,
etc. (with good citations) regarding research into the efficacy of
acupuncture and/or chinese herbal medicine.  If anyone could lead me to
some good (in the western sense–and no, I’m not looking to debate this
topic) research, I would be forever grateful.

Please respond to me via e-mail, gerag…@holonet.net…

Thanx!

Re: Midwifery quackery?

Saturday, January 30th, 2010

The advice given that it may be the midwife, but certainly not the
profession.  This is one of the reasons that lay midwifery should be more
open and available to the public, so there is a standard of knowledge.
Midwifery has been around since the first human, and it is only the
western thoughts of blame and hospitals, etc, that this has ever come into
threat.  The USA is one of the worst for infant mortality, this is because
there is not enough midwifes, not enough education of the public.    Don’t
blame the profession.
