advise on treatment alternatives please

I have a friend who’s daughter was involved in a car accident last summer.

The daughter is 16 now, was highly athletic, and broke her back.  Her recovery
has been excellent but is still in pain.  The doctors tell her that she’ll
likely have to live with it.  Her level of activity is described as "advanced
couch potato" which, given the extent of the injury, is increadibly fortunate.
In that she is an athlete, however, she is finding it very frustrating.  She
is still experiencing numbness in her legs and general back pain.  She, as I
understand it, is still internilizing the accident.

However, I have only cursory knowledge concerning homeopathy but I think
answers exist beyond that what allopathy may offer that can help this young
girl in both her recovery and pain control.  My advise to the parent was to
seek out a local homeopathic Dr. for a interview.

Are there any that may offer advise or experience on this topic?  Please email
me as I only visit this newsgroup periodically.  Your kindness would be
appreciated by this girl.
