Infantile Myoclonic Epilepsy help please

Hello all. (This may be a repeat posting, as I tried to post this
message a week ago, but it didn’t seem to make it to the group).

We have a foster child who has/had infantile myoclonic epilepsy.

When he was born, the children’s hospital gave him from one to two
years life expectancy!

When we started caring for him he was 18 months old. At this time he
was having about 13 very nasty fits (not grand mal) a day, and also
having literally hundreds of myoclonic jerks which caused him much
distress.

For the first year that he was with us we had him with the Institute’s
for the Development of Human Potential. We are Christians and he also
had a lot of prayer. The improvement was dramatic:-

We were able to take him off all medication. The myoclonic jerks
stopped and his fitting almost completely dissappeared.

He has just recently turned 6 and is a champion.

Unfortunately the fitting has not completely gone. He may have perhaps
1 very nasty fit every 10 days or so. Sometimes the fit is so bad that
he vomits, and the stress causes him to vomit blood.

We have a very good naturopath who has been able to help with the
gastric reflux, but he has not been able to help much with the fitting.

Could anyone please advise as we would love to see the fitting
dissappear completely. Thank you.
