Is there an Herbal newsgroup?
New to the net, looking for some fellow herbalists. Thanks!

I haven’t found one either. I will be starting a Wellness List soon
which will hopefully be subscribed to by many herbalists. Meanwhile,
give WellnessMart a look by sending email to "i…@wellnessmart.com".
You might find it interesting.

If your interest is Oriental try:
The Oriental Medicine (OrMed) Mailing List!
======================================================
This list was formed in the late spring of 1994 to serve as a forum
for the discussion and advancement of Oriental Medicine as it makes
its journey from East to West.
To join the OrMed mailing list, send a request to
lists…@bkhouse.cts.com as follows:
~Subject: [anything]
SUBSCRIBE [your address] OrMed
You can also get a file describing the commands understood by this
server (and the way to get the OrMed FAQ) by sending the command
HELP in the body of a message to lists…@bkhouse.cts.com.

On a related subject, is there an FTP site which includes material on
natural medicine?
Thanks in advance,

There is also the alt.folklore.herbs newsgroup. This newsgroup covers all
aspects of herbs and their uses.
I find the herb newsgroup to be much more useful than the OrMed mailing list
as it deals specifically with herbs while OrMed deals with the much wider
aspects of all areas (including herbs) of Oriental Medicine.
