Dear Steve;
I saw your post, and I do not wear tampons forEXACTLY those reasons;
I was formerly diagnosed with PID(pelvic inflammatory disease) in my
early 20’s, and since that time, have not worn tampons.
Tampons are a BIG health issue with me, not purely for the potential
of infection, but also from a feminist standpoint…these things are
very possibly the WORST things to come out on the market since Lydia
Pinkham’s Tonic!!!!! Rest assured, the doctors will discover this, and
find another way to convenience us mere females…give ‘em about another
twenty years or so………I felt so strongly about this issue, in fact,
that I have been having an on again/off again vociferous debate with the
local drugstore in town that I frequent; the pharmacist calls me a foolish
hysteric, and I call him a number of things, least epithet of which means
excessively patriotic(chauvinist)…..get rid of those tampons……
