Vaccine to prevent genital herpes

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the National
Institutes of Health is currently testing a new vaccine designed to prevent
genital herpes.

Healthy individuals 18 years of age and older are sought to participate in
a study for the prevention of genital herpes.  Volunteers are needed who do
not themselves have genital herpes, but who are in a monogamous
relationship with a partner who is known to have the disease.  Both
partners will be screened to confirm eligibility for this
placebo-controlled vaccine trial.  Participants will receive financial
compensation upon completion of the trial. Washington D.C. metropolitan
area only, please.
